The Oracle Shark cage Appliance eliminates the necessity of the Oracle DBA to build and configure the database. The Shark Cage appliance eliminated the need for a dedicated System Admin to build, test, manage or repair a server, thus saving time and money.

TCPWave creates a boot-able image pre-loaded with all the needed components for the Oracle and Fusion I/O, which can be loaded onto a bare metal Shark Cage Appliance. The image comes with preconfigured software, including all the state-compliant security essentials. Thus the images build the Shark Cage Appliances in bulk and then ship them to the customer.
